A Family divided
Post by Chris Silverthorne, June 20, 2016.
We await the inauguration of Rodrigo Duterte. Now we have a President who should finally put to rest the Olarte land dispute. There are many criminals involved and the initial investigation should revolve around the issuance of fake Land Titles by criminals both outside and inside the family. We can reassure the reader though that the 'good' Olartes are on the side of justice and it is those in the family who have aided and abetted the criminals who will be made to pay for their crimes.
When the time is right, and an investigation is underway, we shall report more on the fake Land Title scam. The victims of this scam will be due justice and they need to know all of those who have swindled them. We warn such victims though of those who are making promises about the swindle and pretending to be their benefactors. The 'good' Olartes are powerless to help anyone at this time, so if you have been swindled and sold a fake Land Title, please be aware that not all of the Olartes are involved in this scandal. Only a few are deeply involved, and a few more are implicated by treachery. If you want to be represented honestly, fairly, and with any compassion, then you need to contact us on this website to know who has swindled you, and how we can try to resolve this unfortunate situation.
To our victims we say this: Help us to help you. AND TRUST NOBODY UNAUTHORISED BY US TO HELP YOU OR MAKE FAKE PROMISES UPON OUR BEHALF. ONLY contact us here to know whom to trust.

Resolution introduced by Senator Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III
Post by Chris Silverthorne, September 24, 2015.
At the 16th Congress of the Republic of the Philippines, Senator Koko Pimentel III introduced a resolution to debate the issue of the major land fraud in the Philippines - including General Santos City.
At the Second Regular Session, August 19, 2014, Mr Pimentel put forward the following (P.S.R. No. 856):
"A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON JUSTICE AND HUMAN RIGHTS AND OTHER APPROPRIATE SENATE COMMITTEE/S TO INQUIRE, IN AID OF LEGISLATION, INTO THE REPORTED PROLIFERATION OF FAKE LAND TITLES IN MANY PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, SPECIFICALLY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY, AND TO RECOMMEND FEASIBLE SOLUTIONS TO END THIS NEFARIOUS ACTIVITY AND THEREBY ALLEVIATE THE PLIGHT OF THE INNOCENT VICTIMS THEREOF."
Ernesto M Hilario discusses the 'GenSan Land Scam'
Post by Chris Silverthorne, November 19, 2014.
It's no secret that there is something 'rotten in the State of Denmark'. But will 'Heaven' save it?
Shakespeare's Hamlet may not be a familiar story to all concerned - but it is relevant.
Something is seriously rotten in the city of GenSan. Worse still, this has been known for decades.
So will GenSan be redeemed by some form of Holy intervention? We have to say it is highly unlikely as evil and corruption is the cancer that eats away at the heart of this city.
Only major surgery will result in a successful outcome. But is there the will to complete this operation? There are so many people involved, mostly as beneficiaries of this scam, that it's going to be a long and painful procedure.
Let's hope Ernesto Hilario keeps his finger on the pulse.

Plans for the sharing of the Olarte wealth by some family members
Post by Chris Silverthorne, October 27, 2014.
Alberto Olarte, the only and rightful owner of the 970+ hectare parcel of land in General Santos City, is known to some of the older generation of resident Filipinos as being a benevolent and generous person.
This spirit still prevails amongst some of the family.
The editor (Christopher Silverthorne) wishes to invest in the future of street children in the General Santos City area.
An initial donation will be made to a good friend who is a Pastor. One million Pesos will be pledged to help the Pastor in his good work, helping to nourish the minds of bodies of street children with the Word of God, and with food to feed their bellies.
Upon the sale of the land as a whole, a much bigger project is planned. A parcel of land will be either be retained, or purchased, and this will be used to build a community for those children without a home, without parents, and whom struggle just to stay alive each day.
This additional pledge will be to build a church, a school, and a hostel to give the children a place of security, to sleep and eat.
But for as long as the criminal elements who have defrauded the Olartes continue to get away with their crimes, they will be also stealing the food from the mouths of these hungry and destitute children. As if their crimes were not already great enough ...
EXACTLY HOW MANY FAKE TITLES?
Post by Chris Silverthorne, October 27, 2014 (Updated Nov 19, 2014).
The land owned by the descendants of Alberto Olarte is being carved-up and distributed to a combination of unknowing and complicit purchasers.
But the truth is the true heirs of Alberto Olarte are not seeing a single centavos of this money. It is, instead, being collected and banked by unscrupulous people with an agenda to continually deny the Olarte family their rightful fruits.
So what is being done to stop this massive scandal? The corruption involved is so widespread and involving so many compliant agencies, that it is now so prominent it is being discussed at the highest level.
It is now known at Presidential level that there is something seriously rotten about this situation. The Department of Justice is also involved and will soon be issuing papers to bring the main culprits to the Supreme Court to answer charges of Estafa.
It's only a matter of time before the entire matter explodes in a widely circulated report of the level of corruption in General Santos City.
But what of the current fake title holders? Will they come forward and give evidence to show how they too have been swindled by the criminals out to defraud the Olartes? And what of those who have been complicit on this fraud - those who know they have fake titles and have always known this to be the fact?
Recovery of the land titles is only a matter of time. Once recovered, the land will be sold wholesale. This is where the problems will begin for all of the fake title holders. Any buyer of the Olarte land may want to redevelop the area. This in turn will result in bulldozers moving in and demolishing those whose properties currently and illegally occupy the Olarte's land.
There may be another solution. It could be possible that some title holders may be able to keep their plot. But until these people come forward and offer to give evidence about those who sold them their worthless titles, nothing can be done to help them.
